Are you a dedicated support worker with a passion for providing exceptional care? We have an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to work with a gentleman with an acquired brain injury, located in the outskirts of Cardiff.
We are seeking bright, energetic, and motivated individuals who are proactive and committed to delivering the highest quality of care.


The role will include:

  • Facilitating the client’s rehabilitation program developed by his treating therapy team.
  • Supporting the client in leading a fulfilling life by maximizing his physical and psychological well-being.
  • Promote the client’s safety and independence at all times.
  • Assist with all activities of daily living, including personal care and independent living tasks.
  • Build and develop a strong therapeutic relationship to empower the client and advocate for his voice and choices.
  • Record and report accurately, maintaining excellent communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries or similar conditions.
  • Bright, energetic and highly motivated individuals.
  • Ability to think quickly and adapt to various situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and professionalism.

Working Hours:
36 hours per week
Shifts are on a rota system including days (early and late shifts), nights, weekends, Bank Holidays


Rates of Pay:
Weekday: £16.00 per hour
Weekend: £18.00 per hour
Sleep in Shift: £11.44 per hour
Bank Holidays: £27.87 per hour

An NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise, the applicant must be willing to undertake care Certificate Training.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult and Child Workforce Barring.
Full training will be provided
A full Driving Licence is essential, you must be able to drive an adapted vehicle
