PA required for 14 hours per week @ 11.70 per hour , to be used flexibly to assist gentleman who has Ushers Syndrome and has only 30% vision, with the following tasks:
- Assisting him to the gym and back and waiting whilst there
- Assisting with appointments especially to London to see his Consultant.
- Helping with his You Tube account
- Assisting with generally accessing the community such as going to a cafe, etc. also to accompany him on nature walks as the fresh air is good for his mental health and wellbeing.
The person needs to have a good sense of humour and be proactive in meeting the needs of the client.
Obviously the hourly rate will increase from April 2025 as per the budget in July 2024.
