Care Support has been providing care and support to people for over 25 years.  Currently a leading provider of Home Care, we have now developed into a specialist Extra Care provider, delivering personalised Extra Care and support to over 800 clients in the South East and continuing to grow.

 

We are ideally looking for

  • A Manager that can effectively support and manage a team – so experience of managing a varied service for clients with a variety of support needs and learning disabilities will be required
  • A good understanding of the regulatory responsibilities and the law relating to care services – or experience of managing the delivery of social care services as a Registered Manager
  • An SVQ or NVQ Level 5 or equivalent qualification - or be willing to work towards a relevant management qualification
  • Knowledge and experience of health and safety, risk management and matters in relation to homecare and person-centred care support services
  • Knowledge of how to recognise abuse and safeguarding procedures
  • Train the trainer qualifications (desirable)
  • Knowledge of business management (desirable)

 

Additional requirements

  • An approachable demeanour with confident communication and multi-tasking skills
  • Willingness to work flexibly and to keep your knowledge and skills up to date
  • Please note that you will need a valid Enhanced DBS check. We can accept a DBS from the Update Service or assist you with a check.
  • Valid drivers’ license
