Personal Assistant (x2)

Hours per week: 19.5 hours

Rate of pay: £15 per hour (via a PAYE)

Duties: e.g. cleaning, cooking preparing food, personal or non-personal care (E.g. hygiene)

Location of work: Portslade, near public transport

Desired working days: Mon- Sun (7 days a week)

• 90-minute morning call
• 60-minute afternoon/ evening call
• 1 hour per week- Domestic
• 1 hour per week- Paperwork

About Quinn:

Hi, I’m Quinn. I am 54 and identify as non-binary, I use they/ them pronouns. I am a budding artist, and I love to express myself through creativity. I have a friendly Labrador dog named Blondie who brings me comfort and company. I experience anxiety and I feel nervous around new people. I would love to employ a couple of PA’s who I can get to know, and develop some trusting working relationships with. I feel a Personal Assistant would be much more suited to my individual needs as a service user.

Anyone who is part of, or has knowledge of the LGBT/ Trans community would be a massive plus but it is not essential. As long as someone is kind, caring, empathetic and a good listener, those are the most important qualities I look for.

I am interested in Social Change, and this is what many of my paintings are about. I look forward to hearing from you.

Essential requirements (examples):

- LGBTQ+ friendly (additional training can be provided), awareness of being trauma-informed
- Clear communication, good time keeping
- Patient and friendly
- Able to commit to 9-.9.5 hours per week and consistent agreed days of work
- DBS check

Desirable:

- Driver would be best, but not essential
- Experience of being a PA previously
- Open to occasional overtime in case of emergencies
- First Aid trained
