Personal Assistant
Nottingham
About me:
I am a 24-year-old male with Autism and Mental Health difficulties.
I have obsessive compulsive tendencies, eczema and sometimes serious nose bleeds; however, I do my best to get on with life positively. I like to feel good, but I can struggle with this and tend to feel better with positive, encouraging and supportive people around me. I love to chat, have a joke and engage in my interests, such as anime, food and cooking, animals, movies, comedy, music, and going out. It would be great if the Personal Assistant (PA) shared these or had similar interests.
Hours and rates of pay:
18 hours of support per week is required, of which 10 hours will be over two afternoons/evenings per week of 5 hours each.
The remaining 8 hours is fully flexible and would be a mix of day times, evenings, some weekends and occasional late nights.
These can be added to the other support if deemed helpful for activities being carried out at the time and can be discussed and planned with/without notice by either party.
I would like one or two PA’s to cover all the hours, as I feel consistency over quantity will be better for me.
You can be employed or self-employed.
Employed:
No experience - Pay will be £11.44 per hour for day times and £11.95 for evenings & weekends.
With experience – Pay will be £12.00 per hour for day times and £12.50 for evenings and weekends.
Self-Employed:
Pay rates of up to £20.00 per hour will be paid. However, proof of public liability insurance will be required.
If successful, pay will be negotiated depending upon level of experience & qualifications.
An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required, this will be carried out and paid for by Nottinghamshire County Council.
