Bank Personal Care Assistant Required in Alsager, ST7
£11.44 per hour
Please note – This is a bank position to cover existing PA’s annual leave/Sickness days. You will be employed as a casual worker on an as-and-when needed basis.


Job Description
We are looking for a bank personal care assistant to support a 41 year old lady in Alsager, ST7. This lady has downs syndrome & is a wheelchair user.
She can be very comical & would like a PA with a sense of humour and is easy to get along with.

Hours & Pay Rate
£11.44 per hour.
Up to 14 hours per week on an as-and-when needed basis to cover existing PA’s annual leave/Sickness days.

Main Duties
This position is to take this lady to day care and bring her home again. She needs to be at day care at 9am and picked up around 2:20pm, Monday – Friday
You will need a full, clean driving licence as you will be expected to drive the family’s car.
You will need to ensure this lady is safely in her harness in the back seat of the car for each journey.
The main duties identified in the job description are examples of the expectations required; there may be occasions where you are reasonably requested to provide additional activities to be undertaken inside or outside of the home.

Supervision
My personal assistant is accountable to the employer in all aspects of their work. They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests.

Personal Assistant Specification
My assistant will need a full, clean driving licence due to the nature of the role and will need to live locally.
My assistant must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
My assistant must respect my privacy and always maintain my dignity.
My assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition.
You must be able to work well independently.
The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure which will be funded through your employer.
