Support worker

Support Worker Required at a private address in Dudley, DY1.

I am looking for someone who is kind, patient, trustworthy and reliable. You should be fun with an outgoing personality, with a calm and patient disposition. You should be a good problem solver and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Hours and Rate of Pay:
£11.44 per hour
5 hours on Tuesdays
3 hours on Saturdays

Some flexibility will be required with days and hours. I will also require cover for annual leave or sickness.
Hours to be discussed further at interview, can be flexible with start and finish times.

Work Duties:
Accompanying on social outings and events.
Assisting with household tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, and shopping.

Essential skills:
The primary focus is on finding a candidate who is a good fit personality-wise, as the role involves spending significant time together
Good observational skills
Ability to take instruction and listen carefully
Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
Good verbal communication
Ability to respect my privacy and always maintain confidentiality.
Good general fitness is important as the role entails a lot of standing and walking
You must be reliable, able to work flexible hours to cover holidays and sickness at short notice.

All applicants must be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check and provide references.
