Purpose of the job Young lady seeks Personal Assistant/Carer in Wilmslow, SK9 area to provide 1:1 care to access the community outside the home and sometimes stay with me in the home. I have complex physical and developmental needs, and it will be necessary to help me with personal care.

Hours and rate of Pay

£11.50 per hour

Up to 15 hours a week. Alternate weekends. Some evenings. Some flexibility as to which days and times.


Main Duties

Take me out bowling or other events in the evening.
Take me to a café or shopping on occasional weekend days.
Take me on occasional outings further afield at the weekend, for example a trip to the seaside or theme park.
Assist me to access the outdoors with wheelchair walks or walks using my walking frame.
Assist with my personal care.
Administer medication where prescribed.
In the event of a seizure, follow Epilepsy Management Plan.

Personal Assistant Specification
DBS check will be required.
Assistant must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
My assistant must respect my privacy and always maintain my dignity.
My assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition.
You must be able to work well independently.
My assistant must be able to drive and have a full clean driving licence (car available).
My personal assistant is accountable to me in all aspects of their work. They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests.
The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure which will be funded through your employer.
Full training given.
