Salary: £17 - £23 per hour (dependent on experience)

We are pleased to announce that we we are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our team of professionals in Milton Keynes. The Practice Nurse will play an important role in the future of the service and will be part of a wider team, who can be agile, innovative, and future focused.

The successful candidate must have experience of patients with a variety of long-term health conditions, be comfortable with change, able to work autonomously and keen to work in non-traditional care systems. A willingness to learn and develop their skills and undertake training relevant to their role is also essential, with an openness to support the wider nursing team.

Responsibilities:

Venepuncture
Blood pressure
ECG
Height/Weight/BMI
Health Promotion
Childhood and Adult Immunisations
Wound Care
Contraception
Cervical Screening
Spirometry
Long-term condition management such as Diabetes, COPD, Asthma
Some experience of long-term condition management and cervical screening is essential.

The successful candidate must:

Registered with the NMC
Degree in Nursing
Substantial Practice Nurse experience
Evidence of ongoing CPD
Minimum of 1 Long Term Condition diploma
Have knowledge of patients with long term conditions
Produce accurate, contemporaneous and complete records, consistent with legislation, policies and procedures.
