Support Worker - FEMALE
We are putting together a new care team in Bromley, there are various support worker and waking night hours available – FEMALE*
Do you have experience and skills working with children with special needs? If so, we are looking for an experienced support worker to join the team to offer care and support to our son who is 9 years old. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced day support worker or waking night worker to work with a delightful 9 year old boy in the Bromley area, to maintain his independence at home and in the local community. You will assist and enable him in all activities of daily living, interactive play and communication, accessing the community for social activities Experience of working with children with special needs is essential and full training will be provided. You need to have a clean driving licence and be totally reliable.
Hours:
Various hours are available after school and at night during the week and weekend. Additional hours will be available during the school holidays for days out and opportunities for accompanying the family on holidays.
DBS check will be pursued.
Non smoker / vaper essential.
This role is open to *female applicants only.
Rates of pay £15.00 per hour Mon-Sun,
Driver Essential? Yes, as you would be required to drive my client’s wheelchair accessible vehicle.
Essential: One year plus supporting young people with disabilities desired. Experience of working within a home environment. Experience of working within the care profession. Non-smoker/Vaper. DBS or happy to obtain one.

Term time: 3 x waking night shift a week of 7pm-7am on a rolling rota, 5 x afternoon shifts 4pm-7:30pm, Saturday 10am -7:30pm, Sunday 10am-7:30pm.
School holidays: 5 days a week of 10am-7:30pm, 3 x waking night shifts a week of 7pm-7:30am on a rolling rota.
