U-Educate are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Unqualified Teacher in a secondary school in Southampton.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain on track with their work and maintaining a positive and productive learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain experience in the education sector or pursue a career in teaching.

Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and follow provided lesson plans
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
• Ensure student behaviour is in line with school policies
• Support students in their learning, providing guidance and assistance as needed
• Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians when required

Requirements:
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to apply)
• 2 recent references available
• Right to work in the UK
• Up-to-date safeguarding training (or willingness to complete free training provided by us)
