Job Description – Personal Assistant – 3 hours per week


About Myself
I am a 15-year-old boy living with Mam and Dad in the Merthyr Tydfil area. I am a funny, chatty and sociable boy when I get to know you. I am bright, I have varied interests in History and Geography. I have been diagnosed with FASD, ADHD, attachment difficulties, ASD traits and sensory processing difficulties.

I spend most of my spare time with my family and would like a Personal Assistant to take me out for some independence and socialising.

Likes: -
• Gaming
• Being outdoors
• Surfing
• Paddleboarding
• Bouldering.

Dislikes: -
• Too many people
• Noise
• Busy areas

Working Hours/Pay of Rate

3 hours per week (52 weeks) - £13.00 per hour

Hours need to be flexible to my needs and will be discussed in the interview

Tasks and Duties

• To help me socialise
• Take me out to cinema, McDonalds, Bowling
• Encourage me to order food. And engage with other people


TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED

• A person with patience, who understands the complex needs I have
• Someone energetic and outgoing.
• A car owner / driver


Training

Training is accessible from family

Additional Information

Successful applicants will be subject to a three-month trial period.

A DBS check will be required, this will be at no cost to yourself.
