About me

I am a male, 18 years old and I have Autism.

I like being active and I require assistance with accessing social activities.

I enjoy playing bingo and going the cinema but would like to broaden my social skills.

It is important for me to have continuity of regular and reliable support from my Personal Assistant.

Location: Liverton Mines

Rate of pay £11.44.

Total weekly hours - 3

Day and time TBA

Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required

What would you be doing

Accompany and supporting me with social and recreational outings encouraging my independence.

As a Personal Assistant, you will work under direction to meet the needs and will be accountable in all aspects of your work.

You must be reliable, be able to use your initiative and be flexible.
You must also be able to respect privacy and understand the need for confidentiality in all areas of your work.

The person I would like

Someone who enjoys being active, who has the skills to give me support with building my confidence & self-esteem & promoting my independence.

Some knowledge and experience of Autism would be advantageous.

You should have a genuine interest in the provision of high-quality care, be able to work flexible hours and be a good communicator and possess

the motivation to develop trust and understanding with me and my family.
