Purpose of the job

Personal assistant required for a lovely young gentleman who lives in the Knutsford, WA16 area. Client has down syndrome and is vulnerable but has no behavioural issues. Personal assistant must be patient, friendly and have experience with down syndrome clients. Driving licence with own transport is essential.

Hours and rate of Pay
£11.44 per hour
6 hours every Tuesday & Thursday. (12 hours per week)

Main Duties
• Support client in his workplace environment (café)
• Promote breaks
• Keep client in a routine and motivated
• Give correct guidance and support when needed
• Always ensure safety of the client

Personal Assistant Specification
Assistant must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
My assistant must respect my privacy and always maintain my dignity.
My assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition.
You must be able to work well independently.
My personal assistant is accountable to me in all aspects of their work. They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests.
The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure which will be funded through your employer.

My assistant must have a full UK driving License with access to a car with business insurance as the role will involve taking my out.
