Job Title: Team Manager - Fostering & Supported Lodgings

Location: Dorset

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: Competitive

Working Hours: 8:40 AM - 5:20 PM, Monday to Friday (Flexibility required when on duty)

Duties:

As the Team Manager for the Fostering & Supported Lodgings Service, you will:

• Lead and manage a team of social workers and professionals.
• Provide safeguarding advice and guidance.
• Step in for the Operational Manager when needed.
• Ensure effective performance management and staff training.
• Manage budgets efficiently.
• Handle complaints and commendations.
• Manage social work caseloads to ensure timely service delivery.
• Implement lessons from serious case reviews to enhance practices.

Experience Required:

• BA/BS in Social Work (minimum).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Enhanced DBS check (child and adult/barred).
• Extensive knowledge of fostering regulations and standards.
• Experience managing supported lodgings and post-approval support in fostering.
• Strong understanding of supported lodgings regulations and Ofsted registration.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

We are recruiting for a Locum RGN in Thurrock. We work with several practices providing a variety of shifts.
