The Role: As Finance Director, you will take on a pivotal role in our leadership team, with overall responsibility for all financial activities across the Northpoint group. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and joining the Board of Directors after a successful probation period, you will lead our financial strategy, ensuring the company’s continued growth and stability.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
• Manage accounting operations, including payables, receivables, payroll, and tax compliance.
• Drive financial performance by implementing governance around Capex, Opex and profitability
• Supporting operational functions and strategic business initiatives with robust financial insights.
• Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including accountants, banks, and tax authorities.
• Leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial processes.

Hours & Location: Based in our Dukinfield, Greater Manchester office, with office hours from 9am to 5pm.

We are looking for a results-driven, hands-on Finance Director with:

• Proven experience in a senior financial role, ideally as a Finance Director.
• A qualified accountant (ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA) with a minimum of five years in management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• A strategic mindset with experience in managing cash flow, financial risks, and multi-functional budgets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to driving growth and profitability.
