Support Workers

Role:

We are currently recruiting a Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to a delightful 10 year boy who has quadriplegic cerebral palsy.

Working within the family home, you will provide support in all areas, including providing personal care, supporting therapy programmes and facilitating age-appropriate activities. 

Hours:

There are a number of work pattern options available, covering the following core hours:

Term time – 07.00 to 10.30 and 1400 to 18.30 / 20.30 – possibly some later evenings.

Weekends – Saturday or Sunday approximately 6 – 7 hours per day, available throughout the year.

Non Term time / school holidays – Approximately 10 hours a day Monday to Friday.

Cover for family holidays overseas and in the UK

Open to flexibility within reason.

Bank holidays form part of the core hours but will be paid at pay rate 2. 

Support for UK and overseas holidays may also be required but will be discussed and arranged in advance.

Pay and benefits:

Pay rate 1 - £17.20 per hour

Pay rate 2 - £19.20 per hour

Other Benefits include Pension, Parking, Mileage for Non-Commuting Activities, Flexible Shift Patterns. Permanent and bank contracts considered.
