Pro1 Education is dedicated to providing high-quality educational support, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive. We are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Tamworth on a long term and potentially permanent basis.
Location: Tamworth
Time: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay: £85-95 per day
Key Responsibilities
- Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons
- Assist with planning and preparing classroom and learning resources
- Help maintain a positive and productive learning environment through behaviour management strategies
- Support students with intervention on 1:1 and small group basis
- Monitor and track student progress and behaviour
Requirements
- Previous experience working within an educational setting
- Right to work in the UK
- A valid Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children
- Experience working with SEND pupils is ideal
