As our Head Housekeeper you will:

• Take full responsibility of the Housekeeping Department ensure high standards are maintained throughout the building
• Manage the stock of linen, cleaning equipment and consumables
• Provide a friendly service to our guests at all times
• Complete monthly catch-ups with your team and provide training where necessary
• Ensure all weekly and monthly jobs are completed on rotation
• Maintain the processes and organisational structures within the department

We are looking for someone with Housekeeping Leadership experience who is organised and process driven. We have a wonderful Housekeeping Team and the ideal candidate will have fantastic leadership skills to help motivate the team with a focus on pastoral care and wellbeing. We have a very supportive team throughout the building and a collaborative approach with other departments is essential.

This role is 40 hours per week, 5 days per week. This will include weekend days.

• Mental health first aid qualifications for key team members
• An increased social calendar to get our team together more often outside of work
• A partnership with Bourne Free to deliver an event for the elderly LGBTQ+ community
• A huge fundraising event for Dorset Children’s Foundation
