Job Title: Personal Assistant/Carer

Hours of Work: 5 Hours per week on average

Rates of Pay: £13.15 per hour gross.

Location: Private address in the Holborn area

Purpose of Job:

• To assist the mother with various tasks supporting the employer ‘s son to live an independent personal and social life.
• As my Assistant your job will be to provide personal and domestic assistance to a young boy who has autism, my son is non-verbal and needs support all the time I require reliability and punctuality from my Personal Assistant, who must also be able to respect privacy and understand the need for confidentiality in all areas of their work.

Supervision:

• My son needs supervision 24 hours.
• As Assistant you will be directed by, and accountable to me in all aspects of your work.

Main Duties:
My Assistant will be expected to perform the following tasks:

• To aid with personal care and taking of medication if required such as being able to administer.
• To provide support with daily living skills, including assistance with meal preparation, and housekeeping.
• To support my son out in the community, by taking her to sporting activities, shopping, appointments, and other various activities on request

These duties may vary from day to day.

Qualifications and Experience / Essential:
• Experience in dealing with autism, preferably young children.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Flexibility and adaptability to change.
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer literate
• Willing to undertake activities such as swimming.
Every Saturday 5 hour

My personal assistant is accountable to the employer in all aspects of their work. They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests.
