Teacher of Science
U-Educate is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Southampton.
This is a position starting in September 2024, with the potential for a long-term role transitioning to a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4
- Teach students of varying ages and attainment levels
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to inspire student engagement and achievement
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS
- ECTs (Early Career Teachers) qualifying this year are encouraged to apply
- Unqualified teachers with relevant experience and a passion for teaching are also welcome
- A strong understanding of the Science curriculum and effective teaching methodologies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
