Personal Assistant / Support Worker

Employer:  I am a 28-year-old man who is looking for a Personal Assistant.

I would need support to access the activities that I enjoy in the local community. I love exploring the outdoors, running, and walking enjoy going to the gym and swimming. I love horse riding & Boccia. I am a baker and I love to participate in fundraising for local charities.

I am generally a very happy content and sociable person of whom enjoys company and spending time doing things that I enjoy. I am visually impaired so require support in finding spaces that are flat and free from obstacles.

Looking for Someone that can support me in achieving my dreams and goals. Has some knowledge of person who has a visual impairment is desirable. Can be very flexible with tasks and activities needing support.

Summary of duties:

Support in line with care and support plan, Support in line with Social Care and Wellbeing Act 2014 Support to help with independence skills Work in line with the Employer and support with reasonable tasks. Please note you will be working directly for the employer and not WCBC. A DBS check may be required for the role at request of the employer and no cost to the applicant. Training will be available for the successful applicant.
