Learning Support Assistant- September Start
Ideally, you will have some experience of SEN/ SEND in a learning environment but this is not essential if you show a strong desire to work with their young people.
U-Educate welcome applications from people with or without experience, or suitably qualified professionals who are passionate about working with children with special educational needs and disabilities.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Support a child with special needs and help them reach their potential in a professional and caring manner
- Be reliable and punctual when working individually in the community or when part of a team and supporting colleagues to do their jobs
- Actively join in play and youth activities
- Be prepared to communicate differently with a wide range of people
- Ensure the highest level of safety and safeguarding at all times

- Residential support/care worker
- Mentoring
- Teaching/Learning support assistance experience
- Pro active and hard working
