Behaviour Support Assistant
U-Educate are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistant to join one of our schools in Eastleigh.
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with challenging behaviour in an educational setting.
Duties:
- Provide one-to-one support to students with challenging behaviour
- Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions as directed by the SENCO or teacher
- Support students in developing social and emotional skills
- Monitor and record students' behaviour and progress, providing regular feedback to the SENCO and teaching staff
- Collaborate with teachers to ensure a consistent approach to behaviour management
- Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Possibly supervise students during breaks, lunchtimes, and outings
The successful applicant will enjoy working with 11-16-year-olds. You must be adaptable and willing to be involved in all aspects of school life, have a calm manner and be able to work as part of team.
Prior experience working with students with challenging behaviour, preferably in an educational or support setting is desired, but not essential
