The Role: We are seeking a skilled AV Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a crucial member of our AV team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audiovisual solutions to our clients. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities for the Audio Visual Engineer:
• Installing and configuring AV systems including projectors, TVs, interactive boards, and other AV solutions.
• Integrating and programming Crestron and Extron systems.
• Setting up multi-room audio systems and programmable lighting.
• Implementing and managing wireless networks, including fitting access points.
• Installing, terminating, and testing data cabling systems (both copper and fibre optic).
• Leading and mentoring junior engineers and trainees.
• Providing on-site support and troubleshooting AV issues.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, 40 hours FTE. Occasional overtime may be required to meet project deadlines and operational needs and will be paid at an inflated rate. Travel across the UK and occasionally to Ireland & Europe will involve some overnight stays.

Requirements for the AV Engineer
• Demonstrable experience in the AV industry.
• Proficiency with commercial AV systems, including multi-room AV, programmable lighting, networking, CCTV, and control systems.
• Hands-on experience with Crestron and Extron programming.
• Proficient in using PCs and mobile devices, with strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Valid CSCS card and full driving licence.
• Current passport and availability for foreign travel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
