You will work in a busy preparation centre working with and alongside a variety of specialist teams. Our Prep Centre processes over a 1600 vehicle’s a month and services 8 Stores around the UK.
Vehicle Technician - The Person:
- Full UK driving license.
- A keen eye for detail and recognising the importance of giving every car in our workshop the highest standard of care.
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to collaborate with team members to overcome challenges and solve problems quickly.
- A huge passion for learning and keeping up with industry innovations to help you perform at your best.
- Communication with Worksop Controller/Manager to ensure that quality repairs are carried out on all vehicles.
- Strong technical background with experience of working as motor vehicle mechanic in similar role.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to carry out repairs efficiently and to a high level of quality.
- A minimum of NVQ L3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
- A qualified diagnostic technician, preferably multi-brand.
- Must be fully trained and be able to demonstrate both speed & quality of work.
Vehicle Technician - The Duties:
- Utilising your mechanical knowledge to carry out repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including clutch replacement and cam belt replacement.
- Effectively and productively repair vehicles from brake pads and tyres to oil and filter checks.
- Complete minor electrical work as and when required.
- Vehicle servicing & general maintenance including electrical & vehicle diagnostics.
- Working against set parameters to inspect the mechanical condition of vehicles.
- Performing technical vehicle assessments.

Salary: £42,000
Hours:
- 47.5 hours a week – 2/4 Saturdays as overtime
- 7am – 5pm (weekdays)
- 7am – 12pm (Saturdays)
