SEN Primary TA
U-educate are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Primary TA to join a Mainstream Primary School in Portsmouth asap to work in their SEN provision.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) students. As well as a strong commitment to safeguarding, the successful applicant must also have the ability to plan effectively organise resources.
The school in Portsmouth is a primary school with a SEN Provision who caters for students with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties) and Autism (ASC).
The successful candidate will be expected to help a range of different subjects, including mathematics, English, Science and History, with primary school SEN students. They must be patient, flexible and committed to creating an engaging learning environment and motivating students. The successful applicant will also need to have excellent team working skills, and experience working with a range of stakeholders, such as parents, carers and other professionals.
The successful candidate should have experience working with SEN and an excellent understanding of the SEN framework. They should also have experience and skills in, or the ability to develop, differentiated approaches.
