Background to the job

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PA to provide assistance during lunchtime on weekdays and Saturday mornings, including bank holidays. The PA will be responsible for supporting the individual in various tasks, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Hours / Times of Work

3.5 hours. 0.5 hours, Monday to Friday lunchtimes. 1 hour, Saturday mornings. This includes bank holidays.

Rates of Pay and other Benefits

£15 per hour. 50% Bank Holiday enhancement. Holiday and statutory sick pay. Free training available.


Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assistance with Mealtime: Provide assistance during lunchtime, including meal preparation and serving.


  • Personal Care: Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing as needed.


  • Mobility Support: Aid in mobility, including transferring to and from a wheelchair.


  • Medication Support: Ensure timely medication reminders and assist with medication administration as directed.


  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks related to the individual's immediate environment.


  • Safety and Monitoring: Monitor the individual's well-being and respond to any immediate needs or emergencies.


  • Cover: Provide sickness and holiday cover for the care team.
