About Us : Exactaform are an ambitious manufacturing business based in Coventry, supplying global markets around the world. We are a manufacturer of Cutting Tools specializing in PCD – which means Diamond tipped for use in the Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport and Medical industries. Typical customers will be machining Composites or advanced weird and wonderful materials, which keeps our R&D department busy. 

The Process Engineer will be responsible for the following:

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive our culture of continuous improvement by developing contingency plans to anticipate and address unforeseen challenges promptly. Challenging processes to enable best in class quality and productivity.
  • Production route approvals: Full accountability for ensuring all production routes are written with clear communication for the production technicians to manufacture tools.
  • Process Optimisation: Utilising critical analytical thinking to analyse data to discover areas that need improvements and upgrades, without compromising on quality.
  • Standard operating procedures- Full accountability for all internal manufacturing SOP’s. Responsible for the review of current and planning and Implementing procedures for all new processes into production.
  • NPI introduction: Creative implementation of all new processes and machinery from NPI request to production sign off. Offering training and support to ensure smooth introduction of all new processes.

The Process Engineer will have the following experience:

  • Technical Troubleshooting – Demonstrable ability in diagnosing and resolving complex process-related issues that impact quality, cost, and efficiency.
  • Data driven decision making: A track record of collecting and analysing process and operational data to drive improvements.
  • ERP Systems: in-depth understanding of enterprise resource planning systems for integrated business process management.
  • Regulatory compliance: Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulations.
  • Engineering Background: Knowledge of Tool Grinding, Erosion or Laser ablation processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: History of effective collaboration with various departments to achieve project objectives.
  • Change Management: skills in facilitating change, including implementing new procedures and helping teams adapt to new technologies or methodologies.
